Happy Chinese New Year 2013!
It's my dad's and my year (we are both Snakes, though he is Water and I am Earth), and hey, snake is not that difficult to paint anyway (e.g. compared to a dragon), so I thought I'd whip up something.
Let's just pretend snakes have soft spots for sponge cakes for now..

Oh I just discovered your blog! How terrible is that!! What a treasure!! I love this post, I thought it looked like a tea towel when I first saw this sponge roll. How cute!
